5th Annual Training Conference
|
The California Tactical Dispatcher Association Executive Board is hard at work putting the 2009 Training Conference together. Please check this page often for updates to the 2009 Training Conference.
|
For the fifth year in a row, we couldn't find a better place to hold our Training
Conference. The staff has come to know us and they treat us like family. The beautiful
setting lends itself to our training style and need to just get away from life for a couple
days and spend time networking with others who do our same job. If you have been to
the Pines before, you know how beautiful it is - if you haven't, you are in for a treat.
The resort is the destination - no Disneyland down the street, no big shopping malls,
you are surrounded by natural beauty and friends from all over the country.
Get to the Pines by flying into Fresno Airport, Sacramento Airport, or Oakland Airport.

Over the last decade, Mr. Graham has made over 3,000 presentations to various
groups including law enforcement, corrections personnel, fraud investigators, fire

and district employees, law firms, hospitals, financial institutions, and real estate
companies along with many other private sector organizations. Since 1990, he
consistently received the highest evaluations on P.O.S.T critiques. In 1995 he received

For those of you who haven't had the opportunity to see Gordon Graham in the past,
do not miss your chance at the conference. He is a dynamic speaker who will have
your full attention from the very first part of his presentation. You don't want to miss
this! We are grateful to PSTC911 for co-sponsoring Mr. Grahams presentation!
The 5th Annual Training Conference will be held beginning with registration on Monday,
April 6th between 9:00 a.m. and Noon. After lunch, which is included in the registration
price, will be our first classroom session. Some chalets may not be available for
occupancy until 4:00 p.m., but the Pines staff were very good about getting us in
quickly last year, and we expect the same effort this year.
Conference Instructors & Classes
|
We pulled out all the stops in terms of instructors for our 5th Annual Training
Conference. Another exciting year has been planned and the instructors are all lined
up to bring you the best ever. With six different classes to choose from, each
student will be able to customize their schedule to fit their needs. Take a look at the
classes being offered and don't delay in returning the class selection form once you
get it. Please click here for the instructors and classes.
All-inclusive Pricing Information
|
One advantage to attending the 5th Annual California Tactical Dispatcher Association
Training Conference is that the pricing is ALL INCLUSIVE. This means that your
agency (or you) pay only one price, for all of your lodging, all meals, all classes AND
the Key Note Speaker. Prices are up modestly from last year - but the reason for that
is for higher room rates and better menu choices during the conference. We think you
will be pleased with the changes we have in store for you this year.
Click here to go to the PRICING INFORMATION PAGE.
We are currently working with our instructors and with POST to obtain Continued
Professional Training credits for our attendees, as we have done in years past. Once
we have an answer, either way, we will update this space.

Sponsors - CTDA Needs You!
|
CTDA has done all we can to keep the price of the conference as low as possible. In
these tough economic times we know that some agencies may shy away from sending
their dispatchers to this unique and rewarding training opportunity. We are looking for
ways to offset some of the costs of the conference - so if your company would like to
partner with CTDA by making a donation, it will help us out immensely. Please send an
email to Kurt Anderson by clicking here - and THANK YOU in advance!
