TACTICAL DISPATCHERS/DISPATCHERS: Tactical Dispatchers will be utilized during
the training scenarios which will be going on all day. We will also be able to use some
dispatchers as role players when they are not acting in the capacity of a dispatcher.
This training would be excellent for ANY dispatcher - as it will show them first hand what
goes on during a critical incident.

SCOUTS AND/OR EXPLORERS: We would love to have as much participation from as
many different components as possible. Scouts and/or Explorers will be utilized as role
players and will also have an opportunity, if time permits, to run through the active
shooter scenario in the afternoon. We realize that some Explorer groups attend
competitions and one of the areas is Active Shooter - this would be the most realistic
training they could get in this arena. Do not let your Explorers or Scouts miss this event!

Southern California - one of the key groups of people we didn't invite were school staff.
This time, we want to include them, so they can see first hand how an active shooter
would be handled on their campus. We hope to get the participation of several different
local school districts. One of the areas covered in the morning session, which will be
put into practice in the afternoon, is different ideas on how to keep the students safe
during an active shooter. SCHOOL STAFF SHOULD NOT MISS THIS TRAINING!
